Automation Studio · From California to Kosovo

Custom solutions.
Standard tools. Yours to keep.

Most custom software traps you with the people who built it. We build yours on tools the whole industry knows, so you, or the next developer you hire, can continue the work.

How this happened

I didn't set out to start a business, I was trying to solve some problems. The team in Kosovo not only made it all work, they taught me new ways to make it all work together.

For seventeen years I've run my life as a public company. I needed custom software and found it difficult to get it built and integrated. The team of engineers I met in Kosovo got everything working quickly, taught me to maintain it, and had some great ideas I never would have thought of.

What I found is something most American operators don't have access to: a dedicated, experienced team that ships faster than an agency but without the overhead of a full time hire.

Now I'm not just a customer, I'm a partner. I'd love to talk about how well-crafted automation and custom software will change your life like it did mine.

The automation trap

Every company trying to automate ends up in one of three places.

01 / The big agency

Expensive and slow.

Six-figure statements of work, months of discovery, and a junior team doing the actual build. When it breaks, you file a ticket and wait.

Locked to the retainer
02 / The freelancer

Cheap and fast.

One person who can move quickly, until they take another contract, go on vacation, or just vanish. Nobody is left who understands what they built.

Locked to code no one can read
03 / The internal team

Trusted but underwater.

The people who know your business best are already maxed out shipping the actual product. "Do something about AI" becomes the task that never starts.

Already at capacity
The gap →

We sit in the middle: agency judgment, the speed of people who own the problem, and everything built on standard tools. You're never locked in. You can walk away from us anytime, and your team, or your next hire, keeps right on building.

Three ways in

We can serve it up on a platter or teach a man to fish.
Here's the menu.

Door 01

Show you how.

Training, frameworks, and the pattern library. We hand your people the methods and the judgment to build it themselves.

For: teams who want internal capability, not another vendor on retainer.
Door 02

Build it with you.

We embed and pair-program alongside your team. You get the software and your people get fluent in keeping it alive.

For: teams who want it shipped and the ability to extend it.
Door 03

Build it for you.

We scope, build, and ship, then document it so cleanly your team can take the keys. The traditional engagement, done honestly.

For: work outside your team's lane or on a deadline.
What we build

Concrete systems, not "AI strategy."

Each one is something we've shipped, but every job is different and custom to some degree.

Offering 01

Document Intelligence Platform

Lead offering

Point it at ten years of contracts, reports, and PDFs. Ask questions in plain English. Get answers with citations back to the source page, not a confident guess.

The pain it kills

The folder of 4,000 PDFs nobody can search. It rides on retrieval and agents, but the buyer never has to believe in "agents." They just get answers they can trust.

Offering 02

Company Knowledge Base

Lead offering

The tribal knowledge that walks out the door when someone quits, made queryable. Institutional memory you can ask questions of, instead of a wiki nobody updates.

Proof we run it ourselves

A 17-year governance system, 2,600+ notes and 1,224 stakeholders, answerable in natural language. We built it for our own operation first.

Offering 03

Natural-Language CRM Interface

Ask your CRM the question you actually have. "Which deals slipped this quarter, and why?" Get the answer in seconds, instead of building a report or pinging RevOps.

Example

An MCP query layer over HubSpot. Sales leaders skip the dashboard and just ask.

Offering 04

Multi-Agent Operations Reporting

A set of specialized async agents that each own a slice of your operation and produce one weekly synthesis a human actually reads. Reporting that writes itself.

Offering 05

Dashboards

Yes, everyone builds dashboards, and most of them are wallpaper: a wall of numbers nobody acts on. Ours are built around the decision you actually have to make, not the data that happens to be available. Every panel answers one question, "what do I do now?"

What makes ours different

Decision-first: designed around the choice, not the chart. Actionable-only: if a metric won't change what you do today, it doesn't earn a spot. Ranked by urgency: what's on fire sits above what's just context, so your eye lands on what matters in seconds.

Who you'd be working with

Four people. Two time zones. One operating rhythm.

We don't hide that the build happens from California to Kosovo. It's how we move fast without a bench of juniors: senior people who own the problem end to end.

Mike Merrill

Mike Merrill

Creative Technologist

Start up founder, publicly traded person, and community builder, Mike lives in the systems the team has created with custom dashboards and automations to keep everything running.

Riad Krasniqi

Technical Lead

Architect of how the studio builds. Business thinker and automation specialist who ships production systems on standard tools, end to end.

Albanik Mehmeti

Albanik Mehmeti

Campaigns & AdTech

Has run marketing operations at real scale, so he knows exactly where the manual work hides, then turns sprawling campaigns into something AI and automation can run.

Rinon Krasniqi

MarTech Automation

Automates the marketing-technology stack itself: the integrations, the handoffs, the dozen tools that should talk to each other and don't, turned into a system that runs itself.

How we work together, time zones, and the offshore question, answered directly

First a quick call, usually with Mike since he is in the US. He'll talk to the team and write up an informal proposal and scope of work for your review. Once approved, we'll kick off with a deeper dive into finding the first big wins. Our goal is to show you working examples as quickly as possible, with rapid iteration cycles so your feedback shapes the results.

The California-to-Kosovo time gap is a feature, not a bug. Work handed off at the end of the day in the US allows for a full work cycle while you sleep, speeding up the development cycles. While much of the team is "offshore," this isn't a bench of anonymous juniors doing the work. It's a tight group of four people with a long history of working together, and they own problems end to end. Mike has spent extensive time in Kosovo (he loves it here) with the team.

From a client
"I worked with Mike and the team to build a custom sales tool that I now can offer to my clients. Being armed with my own software, and knowing anything I can imagine they can build, gives me a huge advantage."
